About.

I work in private practice with people of all ages. Prior to this, I worked for over a decade across diverse fields of practice including acute adult mental health services at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, drug and alcohol programs, LGBTIQA+ health support programs, sexual assault services, and the Royal Children’s Hospital, working with children presenting with complex psychological needs.

I specialise in working with adults affected by early life complexities. These difficulties may reveal themselves through emotional instability, anxiety disorders, mood fluctuations, obsessive thought patterns, difficulties in cultivating trust and intimacy, and various forms of addiction. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals from LGBTIQ+ communities.

In my work with children and adolescents, I bring significant experience working with presentations of ADHD, ASD, behavioural difficulties, and related developmental concerns.

My clinical practice is defined by the principles of psychoanalysis, following the orientation developed by Jacques Lacan. It provides comprehensive treatment options for children, adolescents and adults seeking to address mental health difficulties and problems of life.

Alongside specialised training in trauma-focused therapy, I continue to undertake theoretical and clinical studies in psychoanalysis with both children and adults at the Australian Centre for Psychoanalysis. My qualifications include accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker, a Master of Social Work from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from CEU University in Spain.

My former career includes publication and editing in the areas of visual arts, culture, and media, demonstrating my curiosity about the relationships that exist between individual experiences and cultural representation.
